The course is for men and women seeking an effective and positive way of protecting themselves and practising the techniques of Aikido.
This course is especially designed for older students who are struggling with knee and mobility problems. They will find the regular Aikido techniques now integrated with the leveraging power of the baton.
There are three lessons:

Striking and Defence with the Baton
Here are two Masters of the stick, Alain du Bâton and Hiroshi Tada Shihan 9th dan, adopting the classic en garde position with the baton.
We will be using a genuine copy of the Alain baton and following the curriculum explained by Tada Sensei.
Tada Hiroshi Shihan is one of the last living direct students of O Sensei Ueshiba Morihei. He currently holds the rank of 9th Dan, which makes him the highest ranking instructor in the Hombu Dojo’s hierarchy.
